Please help, bluetooth headset keeps disconnecting!

Hi, I'm trying to use my bluetooth headset with skype and ichat. I'm using a Titanium powerbook running the latest version of Tiger and the DBT-120 adapter with the latest firmware and bluetooth updates. The headset is a SE hbh-660.

It pairs up just fine, but when I make a skype call or start a voice chat, after a few seconds I get a notification telling me the bluetooth headset has disconnected. I'm sitting right in front of the laptop, so it's not a range problem.

Has anyone else seen this and have you an idea of what might be causing it. If you need further info on the system, just ask.
