Hi,
I'm still trying to find a good set (either 2.1 or 2) of speakers to compliment my G5 / Alu ACD set-up.
Every time I search for speakers there seems to be more models turning up, which isn't making hings any easier
So, I'm trying to narrow down the options I have available, and one of my criteria is that they must be a good match looks-wise for my existing set-up.
So far, I'm thinking either Altec Lansing FX6021 (but some people say that these hiss/buzz) / Logitech Z-2300 or the Bose Companion II.
But are there any more systems that look like they were designed to go with a G5 / Alu ACD set-up?
Many thanks,
Matthew

I have the Logitech Z-2200 speakers which are similar enough to the 2300 I think. the sound is just awesome! and for looks: I get my cinema display tomorrow I hope (if UPS doesn't hate me anyway), and then I'll see how well they fit. but with my Al PowerBook they go great.
also on the Z-2200 you can take off the black speaker grills to get a more anthracite look which is more similar to Apple's Al style. personally I think that black goes well with everything, especially all metals, so I keep the grills on. my desk will be dominated by aluminium and black when I can get rid of that ugly beige iiyama monitor
pity that dual-g4 must be under the desk due to noise and lack of space...

Thanks for the replies.
Nerdynerd - perhaps you can post back on how well you think they go with you ACD when you get it. I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Matthew

Thanks,

I may even be able to take a pic. but will post either way how it looks. (doesn't the ACD radiate so much beauty that nothing near it matters anyway? ;-))
