Well, while trying to do some reasearch in the purchase of a new phone I've been looking at the Motorola a630. I currently own a sony-ericson t610 and love the bluetooth capabilities but the reeption down right sucks. From what I can gather the reception on the a630 is supposed to be much better and well, then my concern is bluetooth. I have Tiger on my PB and would like to do everything I could do on my t610 w/ the a630. I know it wasn't supported prior to Tiger, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Primarily I want to be able to sync my contacts, upload ringtones, wallpapers, and download photos from the phone all through the bluetooth like I can w/ my t610. Is this doable???

Thanks,
-Zoidberg

Here is a potential solution, although I'm having difficulty getting to the path specified in step #2:

http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...amp;mode=print
MBP / 3gig memory / 200gb hard drive / Superdrive

Mac Pro 4x2.66 cores / 8gb memory / ATI 256mb vid / storage---always increasing. :D

hey, I've got a razr, and it syncs perfectly with iSync. I guess your issue is that the A630 isn't supported under iSync? That kinda sucks..

If I were you (and you haven't gotten the phone yet) I'd go to Phonescoop.com and read the reviews on the A630..

I was lookin' at it too, but I ended up not getting it.

btw, the razr has full support, just no sailing clicker (no sailing clicker for the A630 either)

I've had my A630 for a while now and I've been patiently waiting for Apple to add it to iSync's list. But it looks like they never will. Anyone know why this is? Why is it such a big difference from any of the other Motorola phones that iSync supports?

And I would try that hack that was posted but I really don't like hacking my software. It always ends up biting me in the ass later one down the line.

Does anyone have any other solutions they use to sync their data?
