is there a way to put a 3.5" HD in a 5.25" firewire enclosure, and get it to mount in OSX?

Thanks

Sure. It will plug in exactly the same as a 5.25 inch drive.

Just to add, most if not all 5.25" enclosures will come with a tray or mounting of some kind so you can do just this without the HD vibrating in the case until it disconnects.

Not a problem; the only diff between a 3.5 and a 5.25 is the case size

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.
