I just ordered my powerbook earlier today and I want to set it up so that when using the pb at my desk it dual displays with my monitor. i also want to be able to switch the monitor back to the PC. same keyboard and mouse will be used for both systems. i was looking at this particular switch here . i was wondering if anyone has experience with this, or knows a better way to do it (that is still relitively cheap). this way costs like $21 - $10 mail in rebate + tax + shipping. so like $15 prolly.

I don't have the exact same KVM switch (I was using a Belkin) when I originally bought my Powerbook and was using it with my Windows PC. It worked great for that situation....

Now I'm completely switched and I'm using the same setup to share my 20" LCD between my G5 & Powerbook, though I rarely hook the powerbook up to the LCD anymore.
A couple MacPro's, a MacBook Pro, a PC, and an iPod.
