So I was down at the Apple store today getting a printer with the whole 100 back deal when you buy a Mac. Anyway, I was planning on getting the Canon because of its rave reviews but I figured the HP might suit me well next year for college with the all in one deal. I bought the HP and came home and checked out some reviews and, lets just say, it didnt fair too well. Anyway, my question is, should I take the HP back and get the Canon? Or should I just stick with the HP?

There were a couple people at work that got the HP, and it was awful. We had nothing but problems. I've got the Canon at home, and it's been wonderful. Unless you need the all-in-one functionality, I think the Canon is the better printer.

No question, the Canon. HP has the highest cost per page and horrible OSX drivers that break with every update.

Thats what I was thinking to begin with, it just seemed like a good deal for the all in one feature. Anyway, you think Apple will substitute it for the Canon and still allow me to get the $100 rebate?

Thanks
