hi

I have a Lacie cd re-writer (firewire) - blue and silver design

It used to run fine on my iMac DV - but ever since running it on my Powermac G3 Blue & white

it writes to cd's incredibly slowly

even it s set to 24x it still takes ages

could it be a problem with the powermacs firewire ports?
