Hey all,

I recently went into a Mac shop to have a play round on the PowerBooks they had there. One had a wireless Apple mouse, another had The Mouse BT. I started on the one with The Mouse BT on it, but after a couple of minutes, its behavior went from being fine, to becoming very jerky and eradic. I would drag the mouse from left to right, and the cursor would jump a bit to the right, then jump a lot, and generally not work well. The Apple Wireless Mouse however, worked fine.

Was this just a battery issue, or has anyone else encountered this with The Mouse BT? Or the Apple Wireless Mouse for that matter. I didn't think to check the battery levels when I was in the shop...

Thanks.

I've got one, and it indeed gets erratic... mostly when the battery is running low, though. Pretty happy with it overall.

I have one, too, and I hate it. I haven't had the jerkiness problem, but rather that it takes *forever* to reconnect after it "sleeps." Occasionally it wouldn't reconnect without a reboot. I've tried new batteries to no avail.

The battery compartment door is quite flimsy, as well.

It was so frustrating that I bought a corded mouse.

Maybe it's just mine and it's defective, but I didn't like it.

FWIW,

Mike
