Sexy indeed, but your URL is mucked up.

Does it hang on to the back of the iMac with a magnet?

Hardly a novel idea, such things having existed for years, but really well done.

I have a white and a black. The silver ones sold out. To attach it, it comes with double-sided tape. It really is handy and doesn't make the cords too twisty when undone. I've been using one for about 3 weeks now. When I took my recent business trip, I wrapped the firewire cable for the iPod in it and stored it in a sleeve in th4e laptop bag. Good stuff.

I've seen similar gadgets in the dollar stores, but they are similar only in concept, not design. These ROCK in the design area. They just go so well with everything Apple... The Apple Store should carry these if they don't already.

The problem with these things is that they need a really thin cable to even fit in there. Apple's cables should be fine, but a lot of other cables (and especially firewire cables) are considerably thicker, and won't fit in that. And yes, the design isn't bad, but if you've got a lot of cables you want to clean up, you end up with a whole stack of those things (which can start to get expensive)

Twisty ties are good for thicker cables. I think the attraction for the yo-yos is that they are thin enough to be unobtrusive and also to fit in a laptop pocket for portable space-saving. Maybe they'll come out with larger ones in time.

I like Velcro® ties for big cables; they don't wear out or come apart, and they're easier to deal with than any twisties. Looking at my desk, and all the cables on, around and under it, I have to say that a Cableyo would be useful in a couple of spots, but my Velcro® will stay in place on everything else.
