Hi, just a quick q - can anyone tell me what their favourite (or their recommended) external FW 800 hard drive would be? I am looking for 200GB+ (all the way up to 1TB).

I have 3 LaCie units but I stupidly dropped my brand new one (250GB) and it now sounds an alarm on power-up and makes a terrible grinding noise (I fear the worst). I am not currently able to get it fixed and need a storage and back-up drive badly so when I pop over to the US I will buy one.

My only experience with Firewire 800 is a Lacie triple interface unit... it worked very well though.
