I am considering purchasing the Dell 1905FP display for my powerbook, but I have a question about the monitors stated compatibility. Dell says that the monitor is only compatible for PC's. I realize that i will not be able to install the included software, but will I have all of the function of my monitor including the obvious image issues and the usb ports included with the monitor? This may seem like a dumb question but I have never had a mac before and don't want to buy a monitor that won't work. Thanks

It's a great monitor, I have one connected to my MDD with the DVI cable. Most people say they are too bright, but there are third party apps (search macupdate.com or versiontracker.com) that can help you with that. Tiger recognizes the display and supports rotating it 90 degrees.
Oh yea, usb ports work fine as well.
