So I finally got ahold of an iSkin, and I have mixed emotions about it. For those who dont know, the iSkin is this silicon keyboard cover that supposedly fits perfectly over the keyboard on ibooks and PBs helping prevent the oh so lovely fingerprints and dirt that show up on ur keys after a few days (or hours) of use.

The positive, the thing works. I can look down now at the iskin and visibly see the dust and dirt that it is getting intead of my keyboard on the ibook. However, the tradeoff is its not a snug fit like it advertises to be, and, well its a big piece of silicon over the keyboard, one of the exits for heat on your iBook. I've noticed the temperature of all the monitorable parts of the computer jump up by 5-10 degrees F based on usage. I average around 128-145 degrees fahrenheit on the cpu/gpu/hd and battery (average) whereas before I was in the 110-120 degree range.

I still dont' know if I'm going to keep it, but hopefully this will help future users decide, or be a little starting point for someone researching the product.
