I'm considering getting one of these, but I'd have it hooked up via KVM to my Windows 98SE box, and my Panther-driven Powerbook as well. I've heard it's only supported on Tiger, but will it still work on Panther? I don't care about the special features for Windows and Panther, just that it'd function as a mouse.

Yes, on Panther it'll function as a two-button (left - primary, right - secondary) mouse. You can also set functions for Exposé to the scroll ball button or the squeeze button on the sides.

No idea re Windows 98SE, though -- that's not officially supported by Apple.

Thanks for the help. I'll probably pick one up, and if I can't use it, I'll just eBay it.
