I have iMovie HD and an iSight, but everytime I open iMovie HD and try to capture from a video source it says "No Camera Attached." How do I get iMovie to recognize my iSight?

I figured out that I have to quit iMovie and iChat, and then I have to reopen iMovie to use the iSight as a video source. Is there no way around this? Once I start using video in iChat, it's no longer available as a source in iMovie until I quit both applications. I really dislike the idea of having to sign off just to capture video.

The video source is in use when you are using iChat, you should be able to just quit iChat to grab the video. I think you would have to do this with any computer.
