I'm curious to know if anyone can help or has some advice. I own an Apple USB Keyboard that came with my G4. Yes... I actually like this keyboard but, I recently upgraded many things on my G4, including the processor. I purchased a replacement keyboard on Ebay that matches the current one I use. It came but it had a short chord (must have been used with an imac, not a G4 tower) I decided to take the key covers off and replace the ones on my original keyboard. This works good except that I now notice that the keys kind of have a spongy feel to them. This usually subsides as I use them but I'm wondering if I need a new Membrane, or if Cleaning it extensively will help. Is it that the new keys don't fit like the old ones do??? I only notice this on the keys that are used the most. They don't stick at all.. they just feel a bit more sluggish than they used to. Any Advice or suggestions?
