I'm getting ready to switch providers away from Cingular, and Sprint is my first choice. The problem is, none of their listed phones are listed as being compatible with iSync, at least according to Apple's compatibility webpage. Is anyone using a Sprint phone that's compatible with iSync?

You can use a PocketPC phone. I think Sprint has the Audiovox 6600.

The web page is often behind the compatibility built into the latest version of iSync. Long before they added the Motorola V180 to the list on the web page, we were using iSync to connect with it.

I've been told, by the way, that in the next several weeks Sprint and Nextel are merging. You may want to hold off and see what sorts of promotions the new SprinTel (or whatever they call it) will offer. I'm an old AT&T customer who is STILL not happy with Cingular-they cannot get anywhere matching my current AT&T plan-and I'm looking too...

I'd go check out PhoneScoop.com and Howardforums.com for information.. My Sanyo MM7400 and Sanyo SCP-8200 from Sprint were not supported by iSync, but BitPim worked quite well.

In the not too distant future Sprint/Nextel will be releasing new phones, plans etc I'm sure.. I'd wait a bit for the switch.

link (phonescoop)

soo, maybe they're not revamping their line for a bit. So basically check for compatability of their current phones, and thur ya go.

They have a slider (Kyocera or LG I believe) with (factory crippled)Bluetooth, that some users got working with iSync (IIRC)
