hi

I am wanting to hook up a surround system to my powermac g3 blue&white

for both dvds and creating soundtracks for video edits

I have seen the M-audio card that has several outputs for each of the 7 (i think) speakers

my questions is do you connect the speakers directly to these outputs? or do you connect to the decoder of the surround sound speaker system?

any ideas?
