Bought a Garmin Quest GPS with the idea of using it with Virtual PC. WRONG!!! Didn't work. Virtual PC would not properly load or see the USB device (the Garmin).

Through a web search, I found the answer. The Garmin Quest GPS will not work directly with OSX and Virtual PC because it uses a USB cable. Oddly enough, if you have a computer that can boot from OS9, you can then start Virtual PC (I'm using version 6) in OS9, reinstall the Garmin USB driver, etc., and it works fine.

Therefore, the problem lies within OSX and how it is handling USB with Virtual PC. Works okay with OS9, just won't work with OSX.

My problem was finding a computer that could still boot into OS9!
