I tried a search but came up short..I am looking for cheap (<$20) but functional USB headphones for my 12" white iBook (circa 2001). I don't need a mic, just the headphones. Found an ebay listing for Logitech "A-0205A" but couldn't find any info on them.
Any help would be appreciated!

But your iBook has a headphones plug, so you could use in principal every headphone with a 3.5mm plug, why use USB headphones?

Thanks! I didn't realize it. I thought it was a mini jack and I'd need an adapter anyway. (wouldn't USB be more universal? ) I appreciate your help!

No, as long as you don't have big headphones with a 6.3 mm jack, then all regular headphones will work. A USB work only give you an advantage if you take a headset (i. e. headphones with a mike) to use Skype of iChat for instance.
