I have a real problem: it is my HP color LaserJet 1500L printer, which I love – that is until it stops printing more than one copy. (If it is more than 1 page – it prints it all)

Now, I find that even tho the print job starts (thru the HP printer utility), it stops with no action, and the swirling blue line just disappears, and then the words "No printer job" appears.

I have to unplug the power and replug to get it going again. A real nuisance.

I have replaced the driver several times, removed the prefs and still have the problem.

I have plugged the power directly into the computer and also tried plugging it into my 2.0 hub – both with the same results.

I have gone to the HP site for help and they merely say to replace the driver.

I have done that and still the problem persists.

Anyone have another suggestion?

I had a really interesting morning - I think I found the answer to my printing problem. I was reading the latest issue of MascWorld (Oct. 05) and they said something about printing and changing preference settings. I went into preferences, "print and fax" - the printer came up, I deleted it from the list and closed it. Reopened the "print and fax" and re-entered it. I have been printing all morning without any problems.

I am one of those who keeps persevering until I find the right answer - must be OCD?
