COPYING A4 Direct from PSC 1215

I have an HP PSC 1215. I am unable to change the default copy size from US Letter to A4 so that it copies A4 direct from the buttons on the front of the unit. It will copy A4 using the software through the MAC. I have reinstalled the software settign the default size to A4 but to no avail it will only copy Letter size.

Does anyone know how to change this?
