How to put external HD to sleep but not internal?

I know how to put all hard drives to sleep on my Mac (prefs icon) but how do I select JUST the external, firewire drive? I don't want my internal drive to sleep.

It's a WD 320GB in an OWC Oxford 411 chipset box.
