This ROKR Is unlocked and can be used on any cellular network supporting the 900/1800/1900 GSM bands. That would mean that T-Mobile users could get this phone as well. I am in no way affiliated with MyWorldPhone, but I thought I'd post in case anyone wants to pick up this piece of crap on their network if they aren't with Cingular.

Personally I am waiting for the new Sony Ericsson Hermoine:

ROKR: big effing whoop. With my new iPod Shuffle I don't have such a big desire for great music playing capabilities in a phone now.

I'm just waiting for Sony Ericsson to release a 850/1900 MHz camera phone so I can have a choice of networks. I have my eyes on the W850 "Sakura" which (supposedly) comes with a 3.0 MP camera, yum!

The ROKR excites me about as much as a colonoscopy.

As for the Hermoine, I bought the original P800 and thought it was a groundbreaking product. Then Sony proceeded to do virtually nothing with it, and the P900/910 updates added nothing truly exciting, nor did they correct some of the P800's little glitches and flaws. Anyway, the Hermoine feels like too little, too late. The Treo and various PocketPC models already have a ton of momentum, I don't think Sony can really counter that--at least in the States. (Plus, Sony's little thumbpad keyboard is really awkward to use).

I'm on the verge of finally getting a Sony W800....the phone that the ROKR should have been!
