I have a powerbook, but recently got a nice dv camcorder, and have it all connected to use w/ everything. I love using it to talk to my other friends w/ iSights and such, but in the new iMac, it says that you can do a One Way video chat, so just your image is shown. I would love to do this to some other people, but is this new in the iMac's iChat (I doubt it?). So how do you do it? I really want to know!! Thanks

Just click on the person you want to do the one-way chat with, and then in the Buddies menu, choose "Invite to one-way video chat". If that person has a camera as well, you'll only see "invite to video chat". If they cannot do video for one reason or another, no video options will be available.

Indeed this is not new to the iMac, it's been around on all versions of iChat AV.
