Hi, Im trying to connect a powermac with os9.22 to a minolta CF2002 postscript printer. I downloaded and installed the drivers. The mac is networked with another mac and two pcs with winxp via ethernet. All these machines share two other postscript printers already: an HP and a RIP. Theres no icon in the chooser for the minolta. Its been a while since I worked in os9, hoping to get a hand with this. Thanks in advance.

Choose LaserWriter as the driver (on the left) and then choose the printer from the list on the right. Auto setup should choose the right PPD, provided you installed it.

Thanks for the reply Tooki! The only printers that we are able to choose from are Adobeps and pscript. The adobe is the only one that works right now, last week the pscript started saying "sorry, this printer is not available." When we print something out, I choose adobeps and then I can choose a lot of different printers. When I choose the Fierey3..232( this is what the drivers for the CF2002 put on the mac), after about two minutes we get an "internal error-1". Hoping if we could get its own icon in the chooser, it would fix the problem. Hopefully the info here will be an easy solve though.

Tooki, after reading your reply again, I realised that I didn't install the PPD, thanks. Life is good.
