Hey All,

Suddenly when I turned on my 20inch monitor (the one before the alum ones - with the lines) power button on the bottom right blinks 3 times every few seconds and it also seems like the screen is darker at the top and brighter at the bottom, with full brightness from GP.

Tried a restart but didn't do any good.

Any suggestions? I have apple care..and am crossing my fingers for a new 20in

The blinking light indicates an error code. I think the codes are published somewhere, but regardless it sounds like one of the backlights is out. Most likely, AppleCare will replace the backlighting. I do not think they will give you a whole new display.
