Anyone else had a problem with Soundsticks suddenly becoming Silentsticks?
They are still available as an option through Prefs. & the volumes are all set to max. They are completely dead despite showing on the USB bus through the System Profiler.
This is 'doing my nut in!' Reverting to Internal Speakers still functions O.K.

Quicksilver Twin 1g / Soundsticks / 10.3.9

Any help much appreciated!!

Are you using them in a USB hub or direct?

Go back to Preferences > Sound and disable the Soundsticks then re-enable.

"That's okay, I'd like to keep it on manual control for a while."
