Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could replicate an issue I'm having with my radioShark.

Basically I cannot play the recordings over the network through iTunes. I record as AAC (128k - not bookmarkable) - and the recordings get added to an iTunes playlist.

They play locally, but if I try and play them on a remote machine on the same LAN they just stop at 0:00 and the track gets the little exclamation mark next to it (as if the file were missing.)

Anyone else see this?

Bump.

Is nobody else having this problem? Or has nobody with a radioShark read the thread yet?

I just tried this out, and I see the same thing you do. I'm using the 2.0 beta 23 version.

I tried playing recordings I made using the v. 1.0.5 software, and those worked fine.

Very odd...

Hi,

It's because the new software is saving files as protected AAC. They won't even play on an iPod.

Regards,

Jules.

They do play on an iPod... at least mine. They don't stream over the network, though.
