I just swapped out my Combo optical drive for an LG 4163b which is supposed to support a CD burn speed of 40X.

iTunes only shows '24X' and 'Maximum' under the burn preference. I'm using good media that I've used for a long time that is rated at 52X.

How do I get the burn speed up to 40X? So far the LG works fine, burns CD's and DVD's without problem, and I'm able to boot from the LG too.

Just want to get the speed up a little. I'm running MDD G4 1.25GHz and 10.3.9

Thanks,

Doug
