Well I have an external HDD that's FAT32 which I used to bring over my files from my old laptop to my new iMac and I'd like to put winXP on it. I'm doing this strictly for gaming purposes because the emulators and such require a partition with windows on it. If anyone has any idea how I can go about accomplishing this please help me out. Or if you have an easier solution to playing PC games on a Mac I'm all ears.

Won't work; Macs currently have PowerPC processors whereas PCs have x86 processors. The instructions are incompatible, so Windows will not run on a Mac without software like Virtual PC.

This will change in the next year or so as the x86 based Macs are released.

By the way, the emulators usually only require a disk image (just a special file), not a partition.

That's what I thought. Why even have an emulator though when the only crap you can do, you can do just as well in your native OS?

Not all programs are always available for MacOS.

Not all websites work outside of Internet Explorer for Windows.

But in most cases Windows is Not Required.™
