I'm very interested in this speaker system but noticed that it doesn't have optical audio input. It has great reviews so I guess I'm not too concerned but was hoping to take advantage of digital throughput. Is there any other 2.1 system that I should consider? No gaming, mostly music, some movies, small room.

Any recommendations?

For a 2.1 system I'm not so sure if digital input would make much of a difference. At least, not as big a deal as the quality of the speakers themselves—you might end up going with a worse system to get digital. Some 2.1 systems are THX certified, like the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's which I believe only offer analog input. Altec Lansing and other brands offer certified systems too. Note that THX ≠ great sound quality, but in general it seems to be a good thing (especially for movies!).

I have the 6021's and love them.

They sound great, are plenty powerful enough for the sized-room I have them in and they match my G5 and 20" ACD perfectly.
