Hi guys,

Just out of interest, does anyone have experience with either Miglia Evolution TV or Elegato EyeTV 200. Evolution TV seem has more functionalities such as DiVX and MPEG4 plus iCal integration. But would a eyeTV 200 running on firewire beat the quality on USB2.0? logically resolution on both device are the same, so it shouldn't be the case, does anyone would fancy share such experience on these TV analogue-Digital Device?

My ramblings...

EyeTV's scheduling is more reliable than iCal.
Plextor's ConvertX box, which uses EyeTV, supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX, and it's cheaper.
EyeTV 200 does MPEG-2 & MPEG-4.
EyeTV's software and integration are top notch. Nothing else on our side of the fence compares.

Quality is a non issue, since all are hardware encoders. The only issue for me was reliability. After using EyeTV USB with no issues at all, EyeTV 200 was the easy choice for me.

Had a try on the Evoluation TV, quality was a extremely poor, does anyone have the same experience, or have a Eye200 to compare.
