I have what I thought was a simple problem, but the longer I look into it the more frustrated I'm getting.

Simply enough, I want to sync iCal on my PowerBook to my PDA (a Palm Vx). My PDA is serial only, so I have it connected to my PC. My PowerBook is networked to my PC.

Is there any rational way to either sync to my PDA from my PowerBook over the network or to sync iCal with Palm Desktop on my PC? Neither Palm Desktop nor iSync give me the ability to sync over a network (only to perpherials directly connected to my laptop). Is there some sort on conduit I can use (for instance, iSync syncs to a conduit program on my PC, and then Palm Desktop syncs my Palm to the conduit program)?

Man, I'm pulling my hair out.

Why not just get the Palm USB adapter? It lets serial Palm models work on USB computers. (I used it for years with my Palm IIIe.)
