Hi

I am the happy owner of a 20" Cinema Display (alu) and I am dreaming of purchasing a 23" CD soon ... I was wondering if an update of those displays could be in the works (before next Summer). I would wait of course. I imagine a faster screen with better contrast. Maybe the integration of an iSight ...

Any idea ? Advice ?

Thanks !

I doubt they'll integrate an iSight. It requires a different connector (Firewire), and the cinema displays are already intended for less integrated systems than iMacs.

Edit: I seem I'm mistaken about needing a separate connector, as mduell points out below.

The Apple displays already have a Firewire 400 connection for their Firewire hub.

Judging by how long the acrylic displays were around before they were refreshed, no.

My guess would be the current Alum form factor until the form factor on the PowerMacs change (at Intel change). This may not happen until 2007.
