as AAPL has now moved to a crt-free product line, i really wonder as to what the life expectency is of the AAPL flat screen displays. In other words, would it be ok to leave the display on all the time and have it in that custom slide show screen saver mode when its idle? are flat screens also vulnerable to burnouts or what not?
does anyone know AAPL's policy on dead pixels for these cinema displays and would applecare cover them? thanks.
