With the price drop on the 15" studio displays, you can configure a g4 tower with and additional two video cards and three 15" studio displays for less than the price of one cinema display. I've seen the Cinema display and I can certainly come up with arguments for having one, but having three studio displays would be pretty slick too.

The only problem is that the 15" Studio Display uses the ADC connector, of which a PowerMac only will have one; no amount of additional video cards will get you another ADC connector, although you could invest in a ADC-to-DVI adaptor for this, and use the DVI connector on the additional PCI cards.

You're right, but add two ADC to DVI adaptors and you're still looking at less dough for 3 15" studio displays.

Lets see. 3 Apple 15" displays=$1800. 2 PCI ATI cards w/ DVI=$300. 2 of these DVI-> ADC adapters= $300, grand total= Around $2400. I'll take the Cinema Display.

So for $100 less you still get more real estate:
3 X 15" (1024 X 768) = almost 2.4 million pixels
1 X 22" (1600 X 1024) = just over 1.6 million pixels.
The three monitor config gives you 44% more real estate.
I respect your decision to prefer the Cinema Display. I also wish I had enough money to even consider this as a real world choice.

To paraphrase the great George Carlin, "I've never had a 10, but one night I had five 2's".
I guess it's the same logic.
