hello all

i have a 17" Apple Studio Display....my desk is close to my bed and i was wondering if these Displays have any type of harmful emissions?

it seems when i put system to sleep the monitor cools off quite a bit but i wanted to know if i am laying near monitor, whether it is active or sleeping, am i exposing myself to anything?

any thoughts on this would be greatly apprecitated....

In theroy you are submitted to harmful thing with or without your monitor (CRT?) next to you. IE it isn't as worse as the sun, I think?

G4ME is right on track...there's really nothing to worry about. actually, there have been no conclusive reports of problems caused by CRT emissions.

Just like your cell phone watch out you'll get cancer. (if you use it 24/7 for the next 20 years)

Or those red M&Ms they will kill you.
