I have an HP LaserJet 2100TN connected to a PowerMac G4 using Ethernet. Under Mac OS 9.2.2, it worked perfectly.

I just upgraded to Mac OS X 10.3.9 and I can't figure out how to get this setup to work:
HP drivers are installed but I can't figure out how to configure this printer in Mac OS X 10.3.9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Launch Print Center (located in Applications/Utilities). Click in Add. It should appear as AppleTalk printer. Double click your printer, and the rest should be self-explanatory.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I have that printer also connectod via Ethernet, never had an issue under Mac OS X… just installed the Mac OS X HP drivers and then added the printer with Printer Setup Utility. If I recall right, you are going to find it at the AppleTalk zone, choose 'AppleTalk in the 'Printer Browser' pop-up menu.

Oreo wrote it first… I was trying to get some nice informative screenshots

you must be able to see the 2100 listed there…

EDIT: prior image didn't show the HP 2100TN listed as it was OFF, current image shows it
