9.1 and Epson Printer

Could someone please tell me if OS 9.1 is now compatible with my Epson printer. Previously, I got the message that I needed to select my printer from the chooser and I did so, but I kept on getting the same message. Does Epson have a new driver, or has someone figured out how to fix this issue?

i have an epson stylusscan 2500 printer and it works fine. what kind of printer is it?

I have a Epson Photo 700, Epson Photo 1270 and Epson 740...all worked without a hitch with the upgrade.
There is a problem with Extensis Suitcase 9 conflicting with printing - search the OS board for more if this is your scenario.

Epson has always supported Mac printing since they first introduced the Stylus line of printers. I have run 2 or 3 different models (5700i laser, 800 color and 880 color) with OS 9.1 and no problems at all. No OS X Public Beta drivers, unfortunately. However, I will be VERY surprised if Epson does not have OS X final drivers on March 24th. They have been very good with driver support for Macs.

Hi! I bought an Epson Stylus Scan 2500, it's great but I can't install the software, because it appears a window that tell me the software doesn't run with my system version.
I have MacOS 9.1 in my iMac DV+, and I have not found new software at the Epson web...
Could somebody help me? Thanks!

search this forum for epson. There are many long posts (some from me) decrying the quality of epsons and loss of functionality with os9.
I did get mine working again, but not before I threatened it with a drop out the window...
