Powerpage has a article about how Well-known movie reviewer Harry Knowles, is going to appear in an upcoming Apple commercial...this brings questions---but I was just looking over the Jaguar stuff--- It doesn't seem to be too much of a stretch to put the name of some new apple device, "ICore" or something, in place of Ibook and have it as the real center of you digital life---Apple showed the use of Rendezvous to make iTunes into a music jukebox for your whole house. You could keep all your music on the iMac in the den, and then listen to the iMac’s playlists using iTunes on your iBook connected to the living room stereo. The only configuration panel you’d ever see is iTunes itself.

I too was looking at the supposed Jaguar control panels and got to thinking:

Why on earth, with current devices, would we need a control panel for Music and Video? The iPod syncs automatically with iTunes, and cameras do the same with iPhoto.

Instead, perhaps Apple is devising all kinds of devices that will be 'headless' and connected through the digital hub through control panels. Rendevous detects the device, and the Mac configures it as needed based upon your control panels.

All Apple has to do is provide us with the devices, and lets the software do the rest. Heck, since Apple is trying to make Rendevous an industry standard, maybe they already have a couple of partners looking to make these devices with/for them.

Who knows?
