At work I am using an HP 755 CM plotter. It's memory is all maxed out, but I cannot print to it many times, because the Mac does not have the right drivers for it. I have the regular driver, when you send all the data to the printer and then it has to render it there....but the HP does not have enough memory for that when I am plotting a really big poster. On a PC there is something called the GL driver, where you can render the image in your computer and then send it to the plotter slowly, piece by piece, this way not filling up the memory.
I was wondering what you guys do? How do you plot? Anyone using an HP plotter with huge images?
I do not want to reduce the image's resolution, because it is not high at all...and I also want to be able to print a 20 feet poster in one piece.

Thanks for any input,

t
