Hi, I need advice !!! I need a new printer and fax machine for home use. I would also need a midrange scanner sometime in the future, and I am looking at a couple of HP multi function units. The d135 which is a color inkjet combo, and a laser MFC from HP the 3300 series which has the advantage of laser quality for official type resumes, documents or letters. I do not think the inkjet quality would be sufficient, but it would be nice to have color.... and a color laser is over my budget !!

Does anyone have any experience with these, and what would you advise from any other vendor. I am also open to buying separate components if that would be advisable considering maintenance issues. what combinations would you use.

I run OS X on an 800Mhz imac.

Hi!

I think the color photo quality of inkjet is better than laser...

And, for quality and compability, I would buy —with close eyes— the d135. It's a great machine!!!

(I had an Epson Stylus Scan 2500, wich I could print and scan with, but the compatibility isn't the best).
