I have a PSC 1610 all in one. the printer and card reader works with my mac. but I can't figure out how to get the scanner to work. I have downloaded the software and installed it. I have downloaded the latest firmware for the product and have installed that. But the scanner still does not work. Any ideas?

What happens when you try and scan? Can you scan manually from the unit itself?
What OS are you using?

when I push the Scan button on the unit it says "No Scan Options. You need to install or run device software for feature. Press OK to continue." I'm running OSX 10.4.3 when I go to Image Capture, I don't see any device. When I go to Photoshop, Import, I don't see the scanner listed.

I have the HP All-in-One PSC1350. You have to use the the 'HP Scan' program for scanning.
