I bought Mirotek 3600 scanner at a computer show and expected to
only be able to use it under Mac OS9 at best.
Well, lo and behold last night I loaded classic which automatically
starts the scanning software at the beginning of the launch process
and the scanner worked!
I was able to scan a series of pictures for the wife for her ebay
auctions without rebooting into 9. Shocking. All of my music apps
don't work under X at all under classic and most hardware just won't.
Just thought I'd mention it in case you see one in a store cheaply.
The Microteck was once pricey but they sold it for $49 at the show.
