Hey, I've got a UMAX Astra 1600U and am trying to share it. There are two pieces of software (UMAXShare and UMAXChooser) included with 3.5.4 of the software (newest). These pieces are installed on both machines. On the iBook that doesn't have the scanner directly attached, I can see all the zones on the network and even see someone elses scanner when I select remote scanner from the software's menu. However, in my zone I don't see mine (strange how the zones aren't alphabetical). When I go to the machine with the scanner directly attached and choose remote scanner, I see mine though. Any thoughts?
