My camera is an HP Photosmart 318. You can buy them at the apple store, online (where mine came from), and one of the magz was even giving them away with the purchase of a new imac for a while there. So you'd think it would be totally Mac happy. I can download my photos fine, but Image Capture will not open automatically, I always have to open it manually, even though I tell it to open itself. Grrrrrr is there a way to make it work correctly?

Now that I use it all the time, I notice that even when I open the app myself, often times I still have alot of trouble getting Image Capture to SEE the camera, i usually hav eto plug it in and out a few times, and quit Image Capture and restart it a few times, before it will finally show up there!???
