I'm considering bluetooth for keyboard, mouse, and possibly printer. This will be on my PM G4 running 10.4.3. Is there a limit to how many things can be plugged in via bluetooth? Will one adapter take care of all three things? And what is the range - can I put the printer in a different room, or would that require airport?

I've never heard anybody say anything about maxing-out the number of connections.

BT printing I would imagine is slooooooow.

I get about 10-15 feet with the keyboard and mouse. A wall will cut down on range significantly.

Though you could use Airport to move the printer farther away, I doubt it would be worth the expense if that was all you wanted to do with it.

Bluetooth has a 7 device limit per transceiver.

I'd forget about bluetooth printing. While I've seen some BT-enabled print servers, I can't imagine trying to print, say, a color photo. S-L-O-W.

Some BT transceivers are better for distance than others, though I haven't really looked in to this much so I can't tell you more than that. I can tell you that I can sync/access my Motorola RAZR V3 phone from my Mac even when the phone is a good 25 feet away. Couldn't do this with my previous SonyEricsson T637, so YMMV.
