Im not shure if this is normal or my iPod is broken or something.
With a full charge and not using the unit (its in a case, off witht he hold switch on) for 3 days the battery is dead, or at least to the point it gives he the low batt indicator when i try and turn it on. Is this normal? I mean christ, 3 days without use and it dies? That cant be right.

I have gottent that once or twice, try charging it fully then leave it on for a day and let the battery go all the way down. Also did you happen to leave it in a cold place, that always happens with my cell phone, the sub freezeing temp really kills the battaries

Have you seen Knowledge Base article #61475, sounds like it might apply. It talks about getting a low battery indicator when the battery isn't empty. Sorry I didn't post the the URL, couldn't work out how to get it.

Yah. Try out the iPod and try to run it as lo g as you can. My bet is that the battery doesn't run down that fast, only the iPod is showing that it doe.s Whee does all that eneergy go? You haven't said it's warm to the touch, so the energy must still be in chemical bonds in the battery.
