i got this from some small shop a while back and when i was at macworld recently i saw the company that made the unit

but i don't know the name of the company and i no longer have the mac drivers that came with the unit (the drivers were on a floppy!)

i thought that the drive would be automactically seen by os x but that is not the case

On the bottom of the drive, does it list the model number? Is it the ME-910. If so check out this web page, I believe this is the enclosure. I have one too... it was recognized without any extra drivers in OS 9.1... I'm suprised OS X would need additional drivers. Is the enclosure USB or Firewire? Hope this helps!

the model i have is a me-910 but it's usb not 1394

when i plug the unit in the drive just spins up but does not mount
