I have a PowerBook and I'm trying to connect it to my cell phone so I can view the pictures I've taken with my camera phone. I've paired the two, but when I go to browse the files on my phone, it says the device does not have the necessary services. When I go to Bluetooth preferences, I see the Motorola phone listed. It says it is paired: yes; connected: no

What cell phone carrier are you using? If its Verizon, they have that feature blocked. There are ways around it, though. Go to howardforums.com and do a search, and you will find an enormous amount of information. Also, there is a Yahoo group called maccellphone that has lots of good info.

Good luck!

V710 has that feature disabled. You'll have to download the GIN app from Verizon and pay for the privelage to get your pics off the phone.

I think they left the option to move them to the TF card on the phone, though. That's another solution - copy to the TF card, insert into the SD adapter and into your computer.

Might I suggest switching off Verizon? Cingular's coverage is much better or the same and they don't cripple their phones like VZW. Depending on where you live/work/play, T-Mobile may also be an option.

yes, I do have Verizon. I don't want to switch because all of my friends and family have Verizon too.
